The listing and selling of my father's home, from beginning to end, was handled in the highest and most professional manner available. Mr. Haraway went above and beyond the normal duties of a Real Estate Professional aiding us to list and sell the home in a very short timeframe and still profit in a market that appeared to be soft. Mr. Haraway even enlisted professional repair businesses to handle small, requested repairs from the buyer, and notified the buyer representative when all was complete, enabling the buyer to settle earlier than expected. Our home sold quickly, and we had already moved to Florida, and Ed handled everything. During the home inspection, mold was discovered. Ed secured a contractor and made sure the work was done. Not only did he handle this potential deal-killer, but he also made sure all parties were informed at all times about the progress and got it to settlement on time, since we were hundreds of miles away it was peace of mind that we had such a professional representing us.

I want to thank you for the wonderful job you did in representing my mother-in-law Marie Murphy in the sale of her condominium at 1701 Hart Court. I have been a commercial broker for 31 years, a CCIM for 26 years, and a principal in a commercial real estate company for the past twenty years, and while I am well-versed in the world of commercial real estate, residential real estate requires a decidedly different skill set.

Although you dealt primarily with my wife and her mother throughout this transaction, I followed it closely through my wife and was impressed, not only with your overall professionalism but the way you and your team handled each phase of the process, from listing through closing. ·       Listing Presentation- Your listing presentation was excellent with comparable sales being very appropriate and the recommended price also very appropriate.

·       Communication- From beginning to end you were available to answer our questions and with Maryland having a much more complicated paperwork situation than South Carolina, we appreciated your availability and knowledge in answering our questions in this area. In addition, you were always available in a reasonable amount of time to answer any other questions or take care of any problem.

·       Marketing- I thought your marketing program was excellent and particularly appreciated receiving your update on changing marketing conditions which dictated a price change on our part. I believe this led to a purchase agreement and a relatively quick sale of the property.

·       Closing Process- We ran into some issues during the property inspection, and you were able to advise us on how to handle those and, in certain cases, assist us in finding the right people to make the necessary repairs so closing could take place on time.

 

In closing, based on our experience with this transaction, I believe you and your team are true professionals who provide an outstanding level of service by being good communicators, very knowledgeable in all areas of residential real estate in your market with good attention to detail.
